Quentin Simonet Elected President of the European Equestrian Federation for 2026–2030
Dublin, Ireland — The European Equestrian Federation (EEF) is pleased to announce the election of Quentin Simonet (France) as President of the Federation for the 2026–2030 term.
Quentin Simonet was elected at the EEF General Assembly held today in Dublin, marking the beginning of a new four-year mandate for the Federation. He will lead the EEF as it enters the next phase of its development and works to implement its Strategy 2027–2030, with a continued focus on cooperation, development and the shared interests of European equestrian sport.
As President, Simonet will work closely with the EEF’s 40 Member Federations, strengthening collaboration and dialogue across Europe while supporting the Federation’s priorities for the years ahead.
His election comes at an important stage for the EEF, as the organisation continues to build on its work to bring European national federations together, encourage the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and contribute to the sustainable development of equestrian sport across the continent.
“We look forward to working closely with Quentin Simonet during his new mandate and to continuing our collective work in support of European equestrian sport,” said the EEF.

The Federation also expresses its sincere thanks to Horse Sport Ireland for its gracious hospitality and for hosting the EEF General Assembly in Dublin. The meeting provided an important opportunity for Member Federations and stakeholders to come together for two days of discussion, exchange and collaboration.

With the new 2026–2030 mandate now underway, the EEF looks forward to continuing its collective efforts to strengthen cooperation among its members and advance the development of equestrian sport throughout Europe.
