GIORGIO ARMANI HONORS EARTH DAY WITH THE LAUNCH OF ARMANI/VALUES INITIATIVE

It’s Earth Day, and Armani is honoring the annual holiday with the launch of its new website Armani/Values. Mapping out the sustainable values of the Italian company, the Armani/Values site offers an intimate transparency with Armani clients on the house’s ecological footprint. By highlighting past projects and future progress, Armani explores the principles that have continuously underpinned the designer’s stylistic direction and entrepreneurial projects.

With an emphasis on corporate responsibility, Armani/Values provides detailed documentation of the Armani Groups’s comprehensive history and beliefs. The website grants the public access to the house’s internal ethos and organizational structure for the first time ever before.

“I think that as a designer and entrepreneur I do have responsibilities towards other people, and I feel I should both be an example and offer support. I have always remained true to authentic and solid values in my practice,” said Creative Director Giorgio Armani. “Values matter and for me they are absolutely fundamental. With this website, I wish to share an essential and imperative duty: an invitation for all of us to build a more responsible system.”
