JW Anderson introduces Charli XCX by David Sims for The Corner Bag

JW Anderson has released their new campaign for The Corner Bag
featuring Charli XCX lensed by David Sims
The bag, first presented in February 2023 during the brand’s Women’s Autumn Winter 2023
show, features a soft trapeze form with rounded edges and a unique pinch detail using the
brand’s distinctive chain link. Realised in smooth calf leather, the shape is available in black
burgundy, and two-tone colourways including champagne and black or khaki and navy
A further iteration is introduced in a natural-hued cotton canvas with leather trim
Charli XCX also wears pieces from the Women’s Autumn Winter 2023 Collection, including
styles created in collaboration with Michael Clark. For JW Anderson’s 15th Anniversary in
February 2023, the brand presented the collection during London Fashion Week at the iconic
venue The Roundhouse, which is of great significance to Clark’s career
The collaborative design process saw Michael Clark grant the brand access to his extensive
archive, whilst the brand looked back into their own as well. The result is a mix of the two
retrospective visions, redone and reseen in an act of reducing, compressing, condensing
