TIMES SQUARE CENTER LAUNCHES FESTIVE GINGERBREAD VILLAGE
Times Square Center launches its grandest holiday event: The annual winter festival, which will run from December 10th to December 24th between 2pm – 8pm. An entire gingerbread village will be set up offering an array of activities including a tree lighting ceremony, festive carols, a meet and greet with Santa in his Grotto, and a Mrs Klaus workshop, as well as roaming entertainers. Guests can expect a warm and rustic ambience, hands-on activities, arts and crafts and live shows. The community destination will be decorated with garlands and decorative gingerbread ornaments all around.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with Christmas Carolers
Everyone is invited to welcome the festive spirit with Times Square Center as they mark the start of the season with Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Little ones will be in awe, and a great occasion to make it a day and explore all the activities at the mall.
Meet and greet with Santa and his Elves at Santa’s Grotto
Visit Santa in his wooden grotto and enjoy a fun experience guided by magical elves through the gingerbread village. Have you been naughty or nice this year? Kids will be awarded with a “Nice” certificate from Santa with a treat to take home.
Young and old visitors alike will be greeted by a life-sized gingerbread house, offering ideal photo opportunities complete with edible décor, gingerbread entertainers, and elaborate festive trees.
Mrs. Claus Workshop Station and Festive Games
A visit to Mrs. Claus at her workshop will offer four different types of entertainment. At the Advent Calendar section, each child along with Mrs Claus, will open one box and receive a small pouch filled with candy with a message from Santa. There are also Snowman and Bucket Bowling games where kids will get a chance to unlock doors, by bowling down all snowmen using snowballs, for a chance to win small and big prizes! Toy Factory Festive Arts & Crafts activities will let kids’ minds go wild with creativity, crafting special festive toys and ornaments, or writing holiday cards to send to family members around the world. Finally, little ones will also get a chance to explore their cooking skills with Mrs. Claus in her special kitchen as she teaches the basics of cookie decorating using frosting, piping bags, piping tips and sprinkles. At the end of the day, all participants will get a ‘Cookie Decorating Certificate’ by Mrs. Claus, along with their edible creations to take home.
Throughout the season, Times Square Center will also be hosting the Colorful Jolly Parade all around the mall. Have yourself a merry little Christmas whilst watching festive performances from the nutcracker, gingerbread girls, bubble dancers, a snowflake ballerina and more. You can take pictures with them, too!
In addition, there will be Festive Markets taking place during the month – the perfect time to find unique and hand-made gifts: ARTE Market and RIPE Market starting from 10 December at 10am – 6pm.
