أكد سمو الشيخ احمد بن سعيد ال مكتوم رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران المدني رئيس مطارات دبي لرئيس الاعلى الرئيس التنفيذي لطيران الامارات والمجموعة ان (قمة دبي العالمية لتسهيل سياحة أصحاب الهمم) تشكل إضافة نوعية للجهود العالمية الرامية الى جعل العالم متاحا بشكل افضل للسياح من أصحاب الهمم، مشيراً سموه الى ان القمة في دورتها الأولى استطاعت استقطاب خبراء ومسؤولين دوليين سلطوا الأضواء على حقوق الملايين من اصحاب الهمم في التنقل والسياحة والتحديات التي يواجهونها اثناء تنقلهم بين مدينة وأخرى.
وقال سمو الشيخ احمد بن سعيد راعي القمة:” لقد اتخذنا المبادرة وحققنا خطوات مهمة على طريق تحقيق هدفنا بجعل دبي على رأس قائمة الوجهات العالمية المفضلة بالنسبة للسياح من أصحاب الهمم، ولكننا لن نركن الى ما حققناه بل نمضي وبالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية الحكومية والخاصة والمؤسسات الدولية، من اجل تعزيز تنافسية الامارات على هذ الصعيد”.
وأضاف سموه:” نتج عن القمة توصيات تشمل أبرز التحديات التي تواجه أصحاب الهمم اثناء تنقلهم بين مدن العالم، سوف نعمل على تطبيق المناسب منها وترجمتها الى واقع عملي ملموس، للارتقاء بنوعية الخدمات التي نوفرها لزوارنا وجعل زيارتهم الى دبي تجربة ممتعة وسهلة”.
جاءت تصريحات سموه بمناسبة الإعلان عن انطلاق فعاليات القمة يومي 10 – 11 نوفمبر 2020 في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي.
وحسب منظمة الصحة العالمية يصل عدد الاشخاص الذين يحتاجون لنوع من أنواع المساعدة الى نحو 1 مليار نسمة يقوم على خدمتهم 1 مليار نسمة اخرين مما يرفع عدد هذه الشريحة الى أكثر من ثلث سكان المعمورة. ويصل اجمالي عدد السياح من أصحاب الهمم الى 120 مليون سائح من اجمالي 1.2 مليار سائح حول العالم في العام 2017، انفقوا مليارات الدولارات وقضوا ملايين الليالي السياحية
وتهدف (قمة دبي العالمية لتسهيل سياحة أصحاب الهمم) الى حشد اكبر تجمع من المسؤولين المحليين والدوليين للتطرق الى حقوق اصحاب الهمم في السياحة والتنقل وضرورة تعزيز العمل المشترك لجعل جميع مدن العالم اكثر صداقة لاصحاب الهمم ضمن خطط استراتيجية تنفذ على مراحل للوصول في نهاية المطاف الى جعل مدن العالم متاحة بشكل افضل امام هذه الشريحة العزيزة التي تشكل نحو 10 – 15 % من اجمالي المجتمع الدولي.
وتسير دبي بخطى دؤوبة لتحقيق رؤيتها بأن تصبح صديقة لاصحاب الهمم، وتعمل جميع الجهات المعنية في الامارة للوصول الى هذه الهدف من خلال تنفيذ القوانين والتشريعات ذات الصلة وتطويع الحلول الذكية لتوفير افضل الخدمات لهذه الشريحة، خاصة مع استهداف دبي استقبال 25 مليون سائح في العام 2025.
وسيتحدث في القمة في دورتها الثانية، عدد من صناع القرار وكبار المسؤولين في المنظمات الدولية المعنية وخبراء من أصحاب الهمم، حول قضايا مهمة جدا منها الاستراتيجيات والسياسات واهمية التصميم العالمي للمدن وكيفية تحويلها الى مدن متاحة للجميع وهل البيئة المعيشية المريحة للاشخاص من اصحاب الهمم قابلة للتحقيق وكيفية ضمان حرية التنقل في مختلف وسائط النقل الجوي والبري والبحري امام ملايين السياح حول العالم وكيفية الوصول إلى أفاق جديدة على صعيد الخدمات الموجهة لاصحاب الهمم . بالإضافة الى التطرق الى مواضيع مهمة أخرى منها أهمية التكنولوجيا في تغيير حياة أصحاب الهمم وتمكينهم بشكل افضل من التنقل بين الوجهات والمقاصد ودور البيانات عبر الموقع الالكترونية في تسهيل مهمة اختيار الوجهات الصديقة .
وحسب تقدير منظمة الصحة العالمية فأن عدد الأشخاص الذين يحتاجون الى أجهزة مساعدة تتراوح من الكراسي المتحركة الى تقنيات الاتصالات، سوف يتضاعف من 1 مليار في الوقت الراهن الى 2 مليار نسمة بحلول عام 2050 نتيجة التقدم في العمر والمشاكل الصحية والنزاعات والفقر وغيرها من العوامل الأخرى.
ووفقاً لشركة لونلي بلانيت المتخصصة بهذا المجال، سيسافر 50٪ من أصحاب الهمم بوتيرة أكبر في حال كانت المرافق المناسبة متاحة لهم أينما ذهبوا. وتشير الدراسات إلى أن حوالي 88٪ من أصحاب الهمم يمضون إجازة كل عام، في حين أن ما لا يقل عن 54% من الأشخاص الذين لديهم متطلبات خاصة لجهة الإتاحة يتجنبون الذهاب إلى أماكن جديدة في حال وجدوا أنها غير متاحة لهم.
ويتطلع نحو 50 مليون شخص من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة في الشرق الأوسط إلى زيارة المدن والوجهات السياحية التي توفر لهم خدمات ملائمة تتوافق مع احتياجاتهم.
