وأوضح معاليه، في تصريحات خاصة بمناسبة “اليوم الدولي للعمل البرلماني”، أن التجربة البرلمانية في دولة الإمارات، على مدار (17) فصلاً تشريعياً، قد واكبت انطلاقة دولة الاتحاد، وتمكنت من ترك بصمات واضحة وراسخة في مسيرة التطور التي شهدتها الدولة في جميع المجالات، كما أن النجاحات التي حققتها الدورات الانتخابية الأربع لانتخاب (نصف) عدد أعضاء المجلس الوطني الاتحادي- منذ عام 2006م- قد أسهمت في ترسيخ دور المواطن الفاعل في عملية صنع القرار الوطني من خلال انتخاب (نصف) عدد أعضاء المجلس الوطني الاتحادي، بما يسهم في تطوير الأداء الحكومي الذي يقوم على تقديم أرقى الخدمات لضمان جودة حياة أفضل لأفراد المجتمع الإماراتي.
وبين معاليه أن وزارة الدولة لشؤون المجلس الوطني الاتحادي- منذ تأسيسها في عام 2006م- تلعب دوراً حيوياً في توحيد الجهود المشتركة بين الحكومة والمجلس الوطني الاتحادي لتحقيق مصلحة الوطن والمواطن، وتحقيق التكامل في الأدوار والتنسيق والتعاون بينهما للارتقاء بجميع القطاعات في الدولة، وتنفيذ برنامج التمكين السياسي الذي أطلقه المغفور له- بإذن الله تعالى- الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان “رحمه الله” في عام 2005م.
كما أشار معاليه إلى أن الوزارة تمكنت من الانتقال بالعلاقة بين الحكومة والمجلس الوطني الاتحادي وفي ظل برنامج التمكين إلى مرحلة جديدة من العمل المشترك والتعاون البناء لتحويل رؤية قيادتنا الرشيدة إلى واقع عملي، وقال معاليه: “إن الوزارة تمكنت، ضمن هذه الرؤية الاستراتيجية، من إيجاد آليات وأدوات جديدة للتنسيق والمتابعة والتواصل لتحقيق أعلى معايير تضافر الجهود مع جميع فرق العمل في المجلس الوطني والحكومة الاتحادية، مما أسهم في تقديم أفضل الخدمات ضمن نموذج متميز وفريد من التعاون المشترك”.
