دبي، 8 مارس 2020: بعد الإعلان العالمي في ديسمبر 2019 ، أعلنت نستله عن اطلاق السياسة العالمية الجديدة لإجازة الوالدين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. بموجب هذه السياسة المحسنة والأكثر شمولاً ، سيتم تمديد الإجازة الوالدية لمقدمي الرعاية الأساسية إلى 18 أسبوعًا من الإجازة مدفوعة الأجر بالكامل من 14 أسبوعًا من قبل. وتحدد السياسة أربعة أسابيع على الأقل لمقدمي الرعاية الثانوية، غير المشمولين سابقاً بحد أدنى عالمي.
وجاء إعلان الشركة تزامناً مع اليوم العالمي للمرأة الذي يصادف الثامن من مارس. وبهذه المناسبة، قال ديفيد مولوتو، مدير الموارد البشرية الإقليمي لدى نستله للشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا: “تمثل السياسة العالمية الجديدة أحدث الخطوات التي تتخذها ’نستله‘ بهدف تعزيز التنوّع والشمول في الشركة”. وأضاف: “منذ تأسيسها، حرصت ’نستله‘ على دعم النمو الصحي للأطفال كقيمة جوهرية من قيمها الراسخة، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية سياستنا الجديدة لدعم الوالدين كجزء محوري من جهودنا لتوفير بداية حياة مثلى للأطفال عبر تمكين الوالدين من قضاء وقت كافٍ إلى جانب مواليدهم الجدد”.
وتأتي السياسة الجديدة لترسي معايير الحد الأدنى لكنها لا ترسم حدوداً، ما يعني أن “نستله” بوسعها في بعض المناطق أن تمنح إجازة لمقدمي الرعاية الأساسيين تتجاوز مدتها 18 أسبوعاً، و4 أسابيع لمقدمي الرعاية الثانوية. تضع السياسة الجديدة معايير دنيا جديدة ولكنها لا تضع حدودًا. هذا يعني أنه في بعض البلدان ، قد تختار نستله تقديم إجازة أكثر من 18 أسبوعًا لمقدمي الرعاية الأساسيين وأربعة أسابيع لمقدمي الرعاية الثانوية. وتطبق الشركة السياسة الجديدة مع احترام القوانين المحلية كحد أدنى للمعايير. على سبيل المثال ، ستوفر نستله إجازة والدية أطول إذا اقتضت القوانين المحلية ذلك.
وإضافة إلى الإجراءات الجديدة، من شأن سياسة الدعم الجديدة أن تسهم في تعزيز الأمان الوظيفي ومفاهيم عدم التمييز وحماية الصحة وتوفير خيارات عمل مرنة إلى جانب دعم الرضاعة الطبيعية.
والجدير ذكره أنّ السياسات القائمة منذ أمد طويل في نستله لهذه المنطقة تنطوي بالفعل على ترتيبات عملية تتضمن توفير بيئة عمل مرنة وتسهيل الوصول إلى غرف الرضاعة خلال ساعات العمل في جميع المكاتب والمواقع بما فيها المصانع، وهي مجهزة تجهيزاً مثالياً لضمان راحة الأمهات في استدرار الحليب وحفظه وفقاً لأعلى معايير النظافة الصحية.
ويمثل الالتزام بـتحقيق التوازن بين الجنسين ركيزة أساسية في مبادرات التنوع والشمول لدى نستله الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، ويقضي بتجنب توزيع الحصص ليطبق عوضاً عنها نظاماً يهدف إلى صقل المهارات وتوفير ظروف عمل داعمة لضمان منح جميع الموظفين فرصاً متساوية لتطوير مسيرتهم المهنية داخل الشركة.
وارتفعت نسبة التمثيل النسائي في المراكز الإدارية في شركة نستله الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا إلى ما يقارب 30٪ مقارنة مع 16٪ في عام 2011، حيث تواصل الشركة المضي قدماً في التزامها بتعزيز التوازن بين الجنسين في جميع مكاتبها الموجودة في مختلف أنحاء المنطقة، وذلك من خلال رفع نسبة التمثيل النسائي في مناصب المدراء وكبار القادة سنوياً.
