إريك سبولسترا يعرب عن حماسه تجاه المباريات الاستعدادية للمنتخب الأمريكي بالتزامن مع انطلاق الأسبوع العالمي لكرة السلة
أعرب إريك سبولسترا، مساعد مدرب المنتخب الأمريكي لكرة السلة عن حماسه تجاه انطلاق المباريات الاستعدادية للمنتخب الأمريكي لكرة السلة الليلة في الاتحاد أرينا في إطار الأسبوع العالمي لكرة السلة. وكشف إريك سبولسترا عن سعادته بالمباريات الاستعدادية للمنتخب الأمريكي، وتطلعه لرؤية الجمهور الفلبيني المعروف بشغفه الكبير بكرة السلة في بطولة كأس العالم لكرة السلة القادمة، وذلك نظراً لأن أصول والدته تعود إلى الفلبين.
وأظهر سبولسترا حماسه للفعاليات المميزة التي تجري في آسيا الشهر الجاري، حيث تنطلق بطولة كأس العالم لكرة السلة في إندونيسيا واليابان والفلبين للمرة الأولى على الإطلاق، في حين تشهد المباريات الاستعدادية تنافس المنتخب الأمريكي لكرة السلة في دول الخليج لأول مرة. وأكد سبولسترا اعتناقه لهويته الأمريكية وارتباطه الوثيق والعميق بأصوله الفلبينية، حيث يعتزم توظيف كلا الجانبين في الأسابيع المقبلة لتحقيق إنجازات تعكس غنى الثقافتين
