GAP CELEBRATES THE LAUNCH OF THE DAP GAP HOODIE WITH DAPPER DAN IN THE UAE & KUWAIT

GAP is pleased to announce its highly anticipated “Dap Gap” hoodie collaboration with Harlem-based iconic fashion innovator Dapper Dan, in a limited edition run that launches December 5^th online and in select GAP stores in UAE and Kuwait

A nod to Dapper Dan’s history of reworking designer logos and materials to create something cool and fresh, the classic GAP arch logo, now reads “DAP”. The new drop consists of four styles spanning colorways in red plaid, green plaid, yellow plaid, and camel herringbone. Presented in the original hoodie’s classic silhouette with a drawcord hood to match, the hoodies elevate the iconic “DAP” applique in gold. Complete with Gap’s standard kangaroo pockets, banded cuffs, and hems that make up its signature logo-emblazoned models.

A Harlem legend, Dapper Dan upcycled luxury fabrics to create custom work, quickly counting Diddy, LL Cool J & Missy Elliot as key clients. DAP GAP hoodies launch on December 5th both online and in store in the UAE at Gap in The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Mirdif City Center.
