MATCHES LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE CAPSULE WITH KIKA VARGAS
Kika Vargas reimagines her signature voluminous dresses and separates in vibrant floral prints for an exclusive 22-piece capsule for MATCHES.
Staying true to the brand’s DNA, Vargas draws inspiration from her Colombian heritage and bold, art and architecture-inflected perspective. The colour palette reflects the local flora and fauna of Bogotá, featuring lush foliage-like green, hot red and vibrant fuchsia pink tempered with neutral black and white. Hand drawn prints include abstract Azalea and Dahlia motifs, splashed across sculptural dresses, skirts and tops.
Kika Vargas: “A big focus for us is in rooting glamour in modern functionality since we want all our pieces to live and evolve in a wardrobe that looks as good in fifteen years as it does today. There’s always a playfulness in everything I design and dreaming up this capsule collection for Matchesfashion has been such an honour. The exclusive capsule launches online at www.matches.com on 19th April 2023. To celebrate the launch the collection will be showcased at MATCHES’ townhouse 5 Carlos Place for a limited time.
